I'm a software engineer who specializes in creating online digital experiences with backend (and occasionally front-end) technologies.

About Me

Hello! My name is Zaineb and I love building things. Everything tech-savvy that solves a problem and makes lives more manageable spikes my interest. My journey in this IT world began when I decided to pursue a degree in computer science after watching a movie based on an internship at Google. Sleeping in a pod at the Google office, I mean who would not want that?

Moving to the present, I’ve had the opportunity of working at a crypto company, a US-based startup, anda multinational corporation. My main focus these days is developing a high-quality, scalable, and secure wallet of de-centralized currencies for Coinbeam

I am also in the middle of launching a blog that plays the role ofmy coding diary. It has general tutorials and posts about my experience as a Software Engineer.

Where I’ve Worked

Software Engineer @ Decklaration

May 2021 - Present

  • Develop REST APIs as a backend python developer using Python Flask for a cryptocurrency wallet called Coinbeam.
  • Use unit tests and Bazel tests to remove code errors in APIs.
  • Interact with the NoSQL database (GCP) using protocol buffers.
  • Manage docker containers running on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and deploy innovative microservices (GCP Kubernetes) to interact with the blockchain APIs.
  • Participate in sprint planning, and scrum meetings with the front-end and dev-ops team to ensure smooth integration and delivery of the product.
  • Maintain code on Github using Github Projects to track issues, and pull requests.
